Oklahoma Tree

$950.00

26X20in - Professionally framed in a black frame

This is an acrylic on canvas painting of a tree that stood on my grandparent's property in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. There was something about this tree that I was always very much drawn to, the yellow and green colors, the raised texture of the bark, and the drooping limbs.

During the process of working on this piece I was inspired by a painting that my great grandmother had done of a tree. Like hers’ I wanted the tree to sit center of the canvas and I wanted the trunk to be the focal point.
